How we handle the information you send us.

Who we are

Fordine Solutions ("we", "us") is a B2B consulting and deal-support firm. We provide appointment setting, client acquisition support, project management, file and deal auditing, commercial funding assistance, and freight dispatching for authorized motor carriers. You can reach us at support@fordinesolutions.com or 877-234-6182.

What we collect

We only collect what you choose to give us. What that is depends on why you contacted us.

Everyone who contacts us

  • Your name, and your company name if you provide it.
  • Your email address and, optionally, your phone number.
  • The service you're interested in and how you describe your role.
  • Whatever you write in the message field.
  • Your consent confirmations and the date you gave them — including, separately, whether you agreed to be texted, and the exact wording you agreed to.

Motor carriers onboarding for dispatch

If you're a carrier signing up for dispatch, we additionally collect operating details and, with your agreement, the documents that make up your carrier packet:

  • Operating details — your MC and USDOT numbers, how long your authority has been active, equipment type, fleet size, home base, and whether you use a factoring company. MC and USDOT numbers are public record and we use them to confirm your authority is active.
  • Carrier packet documents — your operating authority letter, certificate of insurance, W-9, voided cheque or bank letter, notice of assignment, CDL, and truck and trailer registration, where you choose to provide them.
  • Sensitive identifiers. We recognise that a W-9 contains a taxpayer identification number and, for many owner-operators, a social security number, and that a voided cheque contains bank account details. These are the most sensitive things we handle and we treat them accordingly — see Security below.

Do not send sensitive documents by email or text. Use the upload on the onboarding page or a secure link we send you. Anyone in this industry who asks you to email a W-9 is being careless with your identity.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and arrange a consultation.
  • To understand what you need so we can scope and quote the work.
  • To keep a record of our correspondence with you.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with lenders, investors or anyone else for marketing purposes. We will not add you to a mailing list from a website enquiry alone.

Text messages and your mobile information

If you give us your mobile number and tick the box asking us to text you, we use that number to send the messages described in our SMS terms — replies to your enquiry, appointment confirmations and reminders, and questions about a file we're working on together.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

We share your mobile number only with the service providers who technically deliver the messages on our behalf — our telephony and messaging provider — and they are permitted to use it only to deliver those messages, never for their own marketing.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of buying anything from us, it is never pre-ticked, and you can end it at any time by replying STOP to any message or by emailing support@fordinesolutions.com. We keep a record of when consent was given and when it was withdrawn, because we're required to be able to evidence it.

Documents handled during an engagement

If you become a client, we may handle files relating to your business or your borrower — financial statements, entity documents, insurance certificates and similar. We treat these as confidential, share them only with the parties to that transaction, and retain them only as long as the engagement and our record-keeping obligations require.

Who we share it with

We may pass information to service providers who help us run our business, such as email hosting and form-handling services, and to professional advisers where we're required to. Everyone we use is expected to keep your information confidential and to process it only on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become engagements are kept for a reasonable period so we can pick up the conversation if you come back to us, then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as we need them for the engagement and any legal or accounting obligation that follows it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal information we hold about you, and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything that's wrong.
  • Delete it, where we're not required to keep it.
  • Stop contacting you — by any channel, at any time.

Email support@fordinesolutions.com or call 877-234-6182. We respond within 45 days. If we need longer we'll tell you why before that deadline passes.

Your state may give you more than this. We apply the rights above to everyone who asks, wherever you live, rather than making you prove your state qualifies first.

If we say no

You can appeal. Reply to our decision, or email us with "Appeal" in the subject line, and a different person will review it and give you a written answer with reasons. If we still refuse and you disagree, you can complain to your state Attorney General.

Someone acting for you

An authorised agent can make a request on your behalf. We'll ask for proof you gave them permission, and we may ask you to confirm it directly — not to slow things down, but because handing your information to the wrong person would be worse than a short delay.

We do not sell your information

We have not sold personal information, and we have not shared it for cross-context behavioural or targeted advertising, in the twelve months before the date at the top of this page. We don't intend to start. We also do not buy personal information from data brokers, marketing partners or social media platforms — everything we hold, you gave us.

Children

This is a business-to-business service and it isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us information, tell us and we'll delete it.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising trackers. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers to fetch them.

The site contains hooks that can report anonymous events — a phone number being tapped, a form being submitted — to an analytics tool. No analytics tool is currently installed, so nothing is being sent anywhere. If you install one, this paragraph must be rewritten to name it and describe what it collects, and you may need a cookie consent banner depending on the tool and where your visitors are.

We remember, in your browser's own storage, that you've already seen or dismissed the sign-up prompt, so it doesn't reappear on every page. That's stored on your device, isn't a cookie, and never leaves your browser.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we won't claim otherwise.

Sensitive carrier documents are encrypted on your own device before they are sent. When you upload a W-9 or bank details through our onboarding page, your browser encrypts the file before it leaves your computer, using a key only we can unlock. Anyone intercepting the upload — or breaching the service that receives it — gets unreadable data. We cannot read those files in transit either.

We keep sensitive documents only as long as the engagement and our record-keeping obligations require, restrict access to the people who need it, and do not send taxpayer identification numbers or bank details by ordinary email or text message.

If you believe your information has been exposed, tell us immediately at support@fordinesolutions.com and we will investigate and notify you and any authority the law requires us to notify.

Changes

If we change how we handle information we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
