Discovery
A working session, not a sales call. We map your pipeline, your current process, and the specific points where deals or projects stall. You'll get an honest read even if the answer is that you don't need us.
How we work
Consulting gets a bad name when nobody can tell what's actually being done. Here's the whole shape of an engagement, and the exact workflow we run on a file before it goes anywhere near an underwriter.
The engagement
A working session, not a sales call. We map your pipeline, your current process, and the specific points where deals or projects stall. You'll get an honest read even if the answer is that you don't need us.
Everything goes in writing before anything starts: which services, what we own, what stays with you, what "done" looks like, how it's measured, and what it costs. No open-ended retainers.
We run the work. Outreach goes out, appointments get booked, jobs get dispatched, files get audited against the checklist. You get one named point of contact, not a rotating queue.
A plain summary on a regular rhythm: what moved, what's flagged, what needs a decision from you. Short enough that you'll actually read it.
The audit workflow
This is the sequence every deal goes through. It doesn't get skipped because someone's in a hurry — being in a hurry is exactly when files break.
We receive the package and build an index of what's actually in it against what the file type requires. Missing items are identified before anyone reads a single number.
Document by document: is it current, legible, complete, and properly executed? Expired, unsigned and partial documents get pulled immediately.
Now we cross-reference. Entity names, addresses, ownership percentages, dates and figures have to agree across every document in the package.
The judgement layer — the things an underwriter will stop and question. Deposit gaps, unexplained transfers, cover expiring mid-term, figures that don't tie to the filed return.
A written report to the broker and the client at the same time. Each item marked clear, flagged or needs attention, with what would resolve it.
Corrections come back to us and get verified — not assumed. Only then is the file cleared to go to the investor or underwriter.
Timing
These are the timeframes we work to. Complex files and incomplete packages take longer — and we'll tell you that up front rather than quietly missing a date.
Your side of it
We're not high-maintenance, but there are three things we can't work around.
Not the cleaned-up version. We can only flag what we can see, and a partial package produces a partial audit.
When something is flagged, somebody needs to be able to authorise the fix. Findings that sit unread help nobody.
If there's a known problem, tell us at intake. We'd far rather build the file around it than discover it at underwriting.
Bring your messiest pipeline problem. We'll tell you whether it's something we can fix.
